Mr Kilmer pulled up on his Bat cycle and started unsolicited directing traffic and helping people cross the street to enter Chatuchak Market
We visited Chatuchak today. It is a bewildering maze of vendors that covers 27 acres and is only open on the weekend. You can get anything here from knock off Rolex’s, to fine fashion, food, plants, art, and even pet squirrels dressed in little clown outfits. I am not making that up and it is really creepy.
Think if it as Walmart on steroids. And some 200,000 people visit a day. It is hot, claustrophobic , and except for the weird squirrel guy, an anthropological adventure.
