The Biodome in Queen Elizabeth park

August 29, 2017 - This is the biodome in Queen Elizabeth Park. It is full of exotic birds, parrots , etc.

The weather turned on us a bit. Smoke filled the air from a local wild fire and was thick enough to cloud the view of the mountains. We don't know much else but when you talk to the locals, they tell me it has been a constant feature of the summer.

Later we would find out the locals were not correct. Canada was on fire and the smoke would follow us most of the trip.
