March 18, 2018 - This is the ‘Reclining Buddha’ at the Wat Pho Temple near the Royal Palace. If you stood him upright he would be 155 feet tall. His feet are 10 feet long.
Wat Pho is very old and actually predates Bangkok. It is not known exactly when it was founded but probably sometime around 1688. It is stunning.
It is very hot today. Walking around the temples and the palace, the sun would reflect off the glittering buildings and tried very hard to turn us into fried spring rolls. Now I love spring rolls, but it was crazywarm.
Whoever invented air conditioning is Nobel Prize material in my view
