June 24, 2018 - We leave the excessively expensive city of Oslo tonight by ship. The apartments in the picture below are some of the most expensive condominiums in Europe. They overlook the harbor where our vessel awaits. I am sitting at a bar at the moment watching the World Cup with a diverse group of Europeans. It is fun to see people cheer their country with such passion.
We taking a ship for this leg because it is the only way to get to St Petersburg without a very expensive Visa and seeing that city was a goal of this trip.
So for the next 10 days we will be at sea stopping at various ports until we get to Russia. Internet will be spotty so may I may not be able to post as much. We need to leave to board.
