August 30, 2017 - This is a very hippie/hipster town. At least the neighborhood we are in reflects that vibe. This is a shot of the building where we went to do laundry looking towards downtown. Almost all of the tall buildings downtown are very high priced condominiums owned by foreigners. These are non Canadians who have vacation homes here in Vancouver. It's a real issue here in this very liberal city.
Tomorrow we leave for the mountains and a vineyard where they make cherry wine. Sounds like an old Neil Diamond song
