May 15, 2017 - This is Greyfriars Kirk It is surrounded by a beautiful ancient graveyard where tens of thousands of people have been buried since the 1600's.

The corner of the grave yard abuts against a private school. JK Rowling, when she was writing Harry Potter lived in Edinburgh and her son attended this school.

Hogwart's ?

It is divided into 4 houses each with there own mascot. She would visit the graveyard and reportedly drew inspiration from some of the names. She would write much of the first book at a coffee shop on the street just outside.

If you are a fan of the book then you know who Tom Riddle is and here is his grave.
