Arriving at Railay Beach

March 7, 2018 - It is evening here at Railay Beach on the West coast of Thailand. It is still hard to believe we are here. We will be here at this beach for about a week before traveling to Bangkok.

Thailand is beautiful. This beach is surrounded by huge limestone karsts that give the whole place a ‘Avatar’ vibe. The area is only accessible by longtail boats which are constantly coming and going.

There are expats everywhere and the food is cheap and so very good. (Dinner for two around 9 dollars)

One could easily get lost here.

About Us

I was waiting for a baby to be born.  It was the fall of 2015 and I had been a practicing OB/GYN for over 20 years.  I could sense it was a time for change in my life.  With new insight to what was possible, we started fantasizing about what this new life could look like.  We starting to call it our “Road to Bali.”  We didn’t know exactly where it would lead, but are so glad we took the first steps into this new adventure.  We hope you enjoy coming along on our “Road to Bali.”
