March 9, 2019 - They have one rule here. ‘Do not feed THE monkey’.
However, there are way more of them than just one . We found these on the sidewalk fence.
They are Macaques. They are indigenous to most of Southeast Asia.
Do not be fooled, these guys are the local thugs. Think of them as 2 foot tall muscular squirrels with opposable thumbs. They are very fast, they will bite, they have no fear, and they are smarter than you. They will take your food and your camera just as fast.
But they are cute.
