July 22, 2018 - I was going to tell a lot of things today about Stockholm. .
Like the church we visited where the current Queen married her personal trainer (apparently to get out of sit ups). Or the ancient square in the old city where 800 people were killed. Then there was the art store where the proprietor greets you by asking where you are from then sits at a piano and plays music from that country. There was the spontaneous Hare Krishna disciples parade with chanting and music. Or the story of how dry it has been here and the forest fires they are fighting up north.
There were a lot of things. It was a busy day.
However, as we went for a walk after dinner, I decided on showing this truth. This city is crazy beautiful. The sun at 9pm makes everything golden and the combination of water, city parks, and old charming buildings makes everything glow.
