May 14, 2017 - There is a phenomenon that occurs in places with short summers and a cold climate. When the weather does turn warm, the colors are intense and life explodes around you in a dazzling display.
Scotland in my short experience appears to be such a place. It has been cold and cloudy for most of our time so far. "Typical Scotland" we are told. But today - The sky was a resplendent blue and when we visited this park we were treated to shades of deep emerald green I have not witnessed for awhile.
Everyone was out enjoying this brief moment of splendor. It was a good day.
